After a number of injuries from skiing, Mikkel was introduced to Yoga as a therapeutic tool. Through treatment of the body, he gained deeper contact with the breath. Through his breath, he opened his eyes to body-mind practice also to prevent injuries.
As he became uninjured, he took up long-distance running. The marathon was completely unthinkable after the injuries he had sustained, but after countless miles behind him, it is clear how potent yoga practice can be.
Mikkel Dahl Lund studied psychology at the University of Bergen and in Oslo, sub-subjects in Hinduism and literature at UiO, as well as philosophy and history in Rome. He has various ski instructor courses, and experience as a ski teacher since he was 16 years old. Mikkel teaches with respect and patience. He brings humor into the lessons, and has a free and undogmatic approach to yoga.
