Maria Fürst is a certified yoga teacher (E-RYT500) trained in San Francisco. She owns and runs Prindsen Yoga & Therapy together with her husband, psychologist Thomas Nordhagen.

The experienced yoga teacher has been teaching full-time for over 10 years and has managed several studios in Oslo, both independently and in collaboration with others. Fürst has a background in editorial work at, among others, Dagbladet, Aftenposten, and ELLE. In 2017, the former journalist published the book "Yoga – Your Path to Balance, Flow, and Strength." In 2021, she was responsible for the yoga teacher training at Aya Yoga in collaboration with Yoga Garden SF, where she herself was trained. In addition, she is an ambassador for the Norwegian clothing brand Run & Relax.

Maria teaches in a clear and pedagogical way, offering plenty of verbal instruction. She focuses on communication and technique, which makes you feel seen and understood in her classes. The energetic curly-haired instructor is perhaps best known for her physically demanding vinyasa classes but also includes gentler flow and restorative yoga in her repertoire. Because the practice has been so important to her, she aims to help you experience how powerful and therapeutic yoga can be.
