MEDITATIVe cONcERT with RADICAL DEVOTION
Welcome to a meditative concert with Radical Devotions mantra music.
Sink into a lovely soundscape, glide into the heals vibrations from the music and replenish with energy.
Everyone is invited to sing the mantra and join the universal choir in the yoga of the voice. Come and sing along, or just listen and rest in a good atmosphere. Singing a mantra is an ancient yoga practice that has a positive and uplifting effect on us.
After mantra singing comes a good silence. Without any effort, the music will be able to lead us into peaceful clarity. Music is a tool for meditation and a yoga practice in itself. A highly efficient and fast way to reach our essence in the heart. Bhakti yoga, or the yoga of devotion, means the way of the heart.
Since 2008, Radical Devotion's music has conveyed the message of our inherent essence. Music is a tool for meditation and self-insight. Radical Devotion has its unique sound and a strong energy field arises during the concerts. Many have expressed that they have been deeply touched by the music. An open encounter with oneself in the heart of truth.
Trond Erland Sigvartsen, vocals and guitar and Linda Grahn, vocals and harmonium, met on a festival stage. They immediately found the tone and began to play firmly together. Both have always been into music. Linda has a background in Swedish folk music and classical singing. She has been practicing meditation since childhood and is a trained Kundalini Yoga teacher and in herbal medicine. Trond has played in a number of bands since the age of 10 and has worked as a healer and bodyworker for many years, including the use of sound and Tibetan singing bowls. He has been doing yoga and meditation since the late nineties and mantra singing since 2003. Linda and Trond have been doing mantra and meditation music for the last 10 years. They are now based a little outside Oslo.
