Dr. Vijaya Kumar Manja grew up in a traditional Brahmin family. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Yoga Therapy and has 15 years of traditional Sanskrit studies. He was educated in  Sringeri Mutt and the Sanskrit College in Mysore. Vijaya holds two Vidvat degrees in both Nyaya and Vedanta and became Indian champion in debate on the Sankhya and Yoga philosophy. He runs his own traditional Gurkulam www.yogagurukula.in  in his native Pandeshwara, a village in southern India. Vijaya is a respected lecturer in India and people come from all over the world to study with him in his Gurukulam.
